As a badge wearing, flag waving, Apple convert you may detect a slight Mac bias in my tone (Okay, it's true - Macs really do make your life easier) but please remember that Windows is just as capable when it comes to audio - it just needs some caressing into place. |

Skoogs In OrkneyChris Giles, Principal Teacher in Expressive Arts for Orkney Council, introduces the Skoog Project, funded through the YMI formula fund for local authorities.
Orkney Island’s Council’s Education and Leisure Service is one of the first local authorities to pilot the use of the ‘Skoog’ as part of its instrumental services which serves the islands of Orkney. YMI funding has so far helped to fund three Skoogs and two training days. |

The Skoog is a cube about the size of a bucket of popcorn, on five sides of which are raised domes of different colours (the other side being the base). When hooked up to a computer it emulates different musical instruments, a flute, trumpet or drums, for instance. |
