Speech and Language Therapy

Recording Sounds and Using Samples

This short video provides a brief demonstration of the sampling capabilities of the Skoogmusic 1.4 software. New additions include a playback head, clear all button and improved scrub more.

Using Skoog in Speech and Language Therapy

A key feature of the Skoog which will be of particular interest to speech and language therapists is the sampling function.  Here you can use recorded sounds such as phonemes, words and sentences to engage in language, sequencing and communication based activities. The added ability to record and assign students own voices to particular surfaces of the Skoog, opens a wealth of opportunities for exploring vocal interaction.
